Web design and SEO for organisations that can't afford things to break.

When someone reaches your site at the worst moment of their life, a broken form or a stale page isn't an inconvenience. It's the difference between being found and being missed.

My name is Ben Adams. I work with a small number of community legal centres, nonprofits, and regulated organisations across Australia, helping them keep their websites healthy, stay visible in search, and quietly solve problems before they become someone else's.

I've been doing this long enough to still find it a small kind of wonder — that the right word, showing up at the right moment on someone's screen, can be the thing that helps them.

Helping You Shine Online

Four disciplines. One person accountable for all of them.

Practical work, not a growth tactic. Each one something you can point to, ask about, and see the results of.

Featured: The Named Framework

The Zero-Drift Protocol

Quietly keeping things running for sites that can't afford to break. Uptime and error monitoring, security hardening, and layout checks, all handled in the background, so problems get fixed before anyone notices they existed.

Most websites don't fail overnight. Usually it's a dozen small things drifting slowly enough that nobody's the one to notice — until someone does, at the worst possible moment. This is the part of the job nobody sees, and the part I care about most.

Operational Framework

Most agencies sell transactionally. I assume permanent responsibility.

A project has an end date. A website doesn't. Once the launch party is over, most agencies move on to the next brief and your site is left to quietly drift: plugins go unpatched, content goes stale, and nobody notices until something breaks in front of the person who needed it most.

I don't work that way. I take on a small number of clients so that I can stay accountable to each one indefinitely, not just for the length of a contract.

The Zero-Drift Cadence

Continuous monitoring and unprompted fixes. Problems are found and closed before they reach you, not raised as a ticket after someone else has already noticed.

Sovereign Documentation Promise

Complete, portable documentation for everything I build. If I am unavailable for any reason, any competent developer could step in and understand your systems within minutes, not weeks.

Trauma-Informed UX Standard

Design choices built for people accessing sensitive services in high-stress situations: clear exits, no dead ends, nothing that adds friction at the worst possible moment.

What changes when someone takes responsibility.

Family Law · Sydney

Family law searches happen at the worst moments in someone’s life, usually during a separation, often late at night, often for the first time. If the firm doing the best work in the room can’t be found, the person searching ends up somewhere else. Nolan Family Law and Mediation’s branded search position moved from roughly 6.6 to 1.11 for “Nolan family lawyers,” meaning the firm now sits at the very top of the searches from people who already know who they are looking for, at exactly the moment they need to find them fastest.
